Grandparent’s Right s Issues may Include Guardianship Subsidies, Respite Care, Medical Consent…

We have been successfully handling family law and related cases in Southern Illinois and Central Illinois for decades. The facts and circumstances of each case are different, not to mention the dynamics of changes in the law and how these changes may impact the interests of various parties at any given point in time. Not only can the law change from time to time, the circumstances of each person are unique and there can be a balancing of interests depending on how attorneys and/or the Court may approach a particular case. Each interested party is entitled to representation by counsel. If parties rights are affected, they are entitled to notice. Certain parties can agree to waive notice and/or consent to certain proceedings. When a minor is involved, the Court can appoint a Guardian Ad Litem to look out for the best interests of the minor.
